Credits are spent in 5-hour windows. Free includes 5,000 credits of Friday’s own model per window. Pro and Max add frontier models with their own credits, and a cheaper model makes them go further. Friday’s own model is unlimited on paid plans, and Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex you run yourself are never metered on any plan.
