The task board and agent messages

Updated 28 October 2026

One agent can split a job into a task board. The others pick up the tasks that suit them, and every finished task is checked before it counts as done.

How the board works

One agent splits the job into tasks and posts them. The other agents pick up the tasks that suit them, each in its own files. Every finished task is checked, by running its tests and by another agent reviewing it, before it counts as done.

Agents message each other

Along the way agents message each other directly: a heads-up about a rename, a question one of them is waiting on, an answer that comes back. You see every message as it happens in the session’s live feed, next to every command and file change.

Working at the same time

An agent you add to a session can work in its own copy of the repository, a Git worktree, so three of them can change the same project at once without stepping on each other. See review and git.

When a tool runs out of usage

The task moves to another agent. See usage-limit hand-off.
